I'm having trouble connecting to multiplayer games over the Internet.
There are two important steps to ensuring that multiplayer works from behind a broadband router:
- Enable port forwarding from your router to your Mac, enabling TCP and UDP ports 34987 and 34988. Since each router has a different method for configuring this, please refer to your router documentation for instructions on port forwarding.
- In your router configuration, locate the router's WAN IP address. In Rise of Nations, click "Options" and then click the "Game" tab. Type the WAN IP address into the "IP Override" field.
